Qld: MP ordered off plane
BRISBANE, Dec 11 AAP - Independent federal MP Bob Katter was ordered off a plane atCairns airport after getting angry with a passenger.
The Courier-Mail reported today Mr Katter berated a Queensland government officialshortly after boarding a Qantas jet at Cairns yesterday.
Mr Katter, who was on his way to a sugar grower rally in Townsville, said he told theofficial: "When our people are committing suicide I hope your conscience hurts you".
A member of the plane's crew asked Mr Katter to leave and he agreed.
Qantas charted an aircraft to get Mr Katter to the rally and apologised for the inconvenience.
Comment was being sought from Mr Katter today.
