Vic: Nurses union agrees to recommend end to bans
Victoria's nurses' union will hold a mass meeting on Tuesday to decide if it will lift
work bans which have placed it in danger of hefty Federal Court fines.
The Australian Nursing Federation state executive has decided tonight that it will
recommend to members the bans be lifted so negotiations can continue with the state government.
State Health Minister JOHN THWAITES says he's pleased the nurses union has decided
to recommend members end the bans.
